Location: Porta Ayora, Santa Cruz
We started our first day of work on the beautiful island of Santa Cruz. The day began with a tour of the marine center and helping them clear new pahtways and clean up garbage. Next came a quick cool off session at the beach followed by a visit to the local high school which demonstrated our lack of dancing ability and only highlighted the local students talent. After another game of soccer against the locals we hit the town for a night of relaxation and recuperation. Looking forward to another bright beautiful day in the Galapagos.
